Marcel Grosser
Student assistant
I am studying law at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and am currently preparing for my first state examination in law.
Since the beginning of my studies, I have been particularly interested in criminal law - not least because of its direct proximity to real life situations and the fundamental questions of justice, responsibility and freedom. I deepen this interest theoretically in the focus area of criminal sciences and practically in my work as a student assistant at the law firm Rumpf & Schmidt-Tüshaus.
Since 2022, I have been supporting the team in particular with research, file processing, general administrative activities and drafting pleadings.
I see criminal defense as a constitutionally necessary counterpart to the public prosecutor's office - not only as the defense of individuals, but as an essential contribution to ensuring fair criminal proceedings in the long term. The early insights into this responsible work encourage me in my goal of later working as a criminal defense lawyer myself - and I consider myself fortunate to already be able to learn from proven experts.
